Scavenger Hunt

This is my example of vantage point out of my pictures.

This is my example of engaging the edges of the frame because it's a model one would
assume that it has legs that aren't visible and hands.

Even though there isn't very much contrast it makes it look as if it
was painted but it still has good focus.

  1. The eye photograph is haunting! The overexposure makes the eye disappear and the off-center, top-weighted position in the frame makes it seem as if it is floating-- beautifully done. Typically, when a photograph engages the edges of the frame, the weight in the photograph hovers near the edge, rather than the center. while your model subject literally gets cut-off by the frame edge, you might have considered the model placement further to exaggerate the composition draw in your viewer. Your abstractions are beautifully observed. You certainly have an eye for tension and detail. As you shoot more representational subject matter, capitalize on your strengths and continue to consider the frame edge and how geometry and shape can govern the feeling of a photograph. I look forward to seeing your future work!
