Photograph by Andreas Feininger - This photograph for me is a good example of focus in the middle ground because there is the metal bars in front and the city in the background that almost frames the train yard in the middle ground.
Photograph by: Evelyn Hofer - This stood out as a perfect example of repitition through the arches. This also plays with the frame in that the arched windows expand beyond what's in the frame. The values from dark to light are really prominent also.
Photograph by: Barbara Morgan - This picture of Martha Graham is widely known among dancers but in the photography world could be seen as an example of domination. This would be because Graham is the only subject in the frame and also takes up most of it.
Photograph by: E. O. Hoppe - The telephone wires are a great example of symmetry in a picture, though it is not perfect, if the photo was folded in half it would mostly be the same.
Photograph by: n. Jay Jaffee - This city scene has a great focus on the background because even though there is a man walking in the foreground the light source is still coming from the back where the picture is mainly focused.
Photograph by: Rachel Papo - The dancers in this photo do not all get the same attention because the photographer decided to focus on the girl in the foreground. This decision changed the feel of the picture and made it seem more intimate with the closest girl.
